I was walking inside the mall and saw this pair ahead of me. The guys was holding an ice cream, and the woman had a pink cap maybe to hide her unkept hair?, and they moved at the same slow pace like they are catching up with lost. people around them passed by in a hurry, phones out, bags swinging, but they stayed unbothered.
one woman with red hair was walking fast, wearing yoga pants, striding like there’s no tomorrow. on the right, a guy in a hoodie and loose clothes looks confused and lost, maybe he is thinking that he’d rather be anywhere else.
i know this drawing looks too simple some might even raise an eyebrow, like “that’s it?” but sometimes that’s the point. doodling like this helps me unwind. no rules, no pressure. just lines finding their place.
when i draw people, i’m not chasing perfection. i’m just slowing down. watching them exist, and in a way, remembering how to breathe again.
walking people. just that.
