Several days ago [my friends and I were able to finish Terraria](https://peakd.com/hive-140217/@perceval/terraria-the-end-of-our-vanilla-adventure-is-here-eng-esp), which was a very nice and fun experience, it had been a long time since I finished a game with my friends. But our story would not end with the end of the game, we had to go for more. Terraria is a game in which you can add many visual mods and others that offer you a different experience to Terraria Vanilla, so we decided to choose to improve our experience and spend a lot of time on one of the best Terraria mods: # Calamity Mod This Mod has multiple comments all over the net, and not only that, you can also find many memes related to Calamity that let you know that the Mod is not simple at all. We can assure you that everything that is said about Calamity is true, and we have only played it for a couple of hours. Our first play session was a modest 10 hours, not too long. My duty in this new adventure was to design our home. We had planned to make a giant tree house that we saw in a Terraria image, but making something like that was extremely time consuming and we needed a place to settle and protect ourselves at night. So my first few minutes in the world of Calamity and the next 10 hours were devoted to my efforts to create a beautiful and functional house, at least that's what I tried. I started with a small house that would be the first home for our first NPC and also the house that would lay the foundation for our home to take shape. I used a tool that allows me to create home instead of wood to give it a tree look, at least I feel that everything with leaves and green looks great, at least in survival games I feel it does. In Minecraft I loved to decorate my wooden houses with brush and bushes.

I learned that with the hammer you can rotate structures to give them the shapes you want, so that made it much easier for me to create something much more in line with what I had in mind and avoid everything being square. One resource I used a lot was the use of glass to make the house a little more "modern". --- In the end I liked the result, it was all improvised, but I ended up liking it a lot. The bad thing is that in Calamity there are many more NPC's, so you need to create many more rooms for them to have a place to live. I thought about making the house a bit bigger and keep expanding it upwards, but I think that would be a mistake and in the end I would end up losing the essence. We also have a subway storage room, actually it's more like a basement. @dog3zz was in charge of building it and it turned out pretty good. You can create many useful things with the objects that these enemies leave behind and advance your early game much faster. EmpecΓ© con una casa pequeΓ±a que serΓ­a el primer hogar para nuestro primer NPC y tambiΓ©n la casa que sentarΓ­a las bases y que nuestro hogar tomase forma. UtilicΓ© una herramienta que me permite crear hogar en cambio de madera para darle un aspecto de Γ‘rbol, al menos yo siento que todo con hojas y verde luce genial, al menos en los juegos survival siento que es asΓ­. En Minecraft a mi me encantaba decorar mis casas de madera con maleza y arbustos.

AprendΓ­ que con el martillo puedes girar estructuras para darles las formas que tu quieras, asΓ­ que eso me facilitΓ³ mucho el poder crear algo mucho mΓ‘s de acorde con lo que tenΓ­a en mente y evitar que todo fuese cuadrado. Un recurso que utilicΓ© mucho fue el uso de cristal para hacer la casa un poco mΓ‘s "moderna".
