I was formerly on this wonderful community then known as steemit, a few of you might know me then, I engaged in chess community then and played some of the tournaments organized by @schamangebert. Asides playing chess I also love to sing, play the guitar and write fictional short stories in my free time.

I spent a few years away from hive while building my chess career. In 2018, I represented Nigeria at the Chess Olympiads which took place in Batumi, Georgia. I got my Woman Fide Master title at the event and also met some great chess players.

A selfie with GM Timur Gareyev popularly known as the blindfold king

I Recall him analyzing one of my games during the Olympiads by just skimming through my recording sheet. I was amazed by his skills he analyzed better than I would have even if the chess board was placed in front of me.

Also met the great GM Fabiano Caruna

In 2019, I visited the great city; Morroco where I represented Nigeria in the all african games

In May 2021, I proceeded to Malawi where I participated in the All African Individual Chess Championship
I had a bad tournament and didn't perform so well due to the financial challenges I was experiencing at that time. I remember coming back to Nigeria with a lot of critics but I knew I was going to recover from that so I rested for some months and didn't participate in any major tournaments.
