Charcoal on paper

This drawing was created by specific way of applying the charcoal. The key is to apply the heavy, mostly even coat of charcoal on the entire surface of paper, and then to start drawing-wiping with special rubber (made especially for charcoal), and cotton cloth. After the first layer is done, the next step is to start drawing with charcoal to complete the drawing. After the charcoal, comes the rubber again. This process is repeated until getting the desired look and finished product.
