Hello friends, just a little blog today. Not much going on around here, just feeling rather down and disheartened about, well, (gestures at everything) yanno, everything.
I did an 84 hour liquid fast (because I'm hypoglycemic, so that way the blood sugar didn't try to kill me but I still felt hunger) as part of the #FastForGaza challenge. The idea is, you give up one meal a day, or fast, or liquid fast as I did, however you want to do it - and donate the money you would have spent on food to a fundraiser that is feeding starving people in Gaza. It was started by YourFavoriteGuy/Guy Christensen, and Bisan mentioned it in one of her videos, which is how I heard about it. I was going to do 81 hours at first, for 81 days without any real aid entering Gaza at the time that I started, but ended up doing 84, which worked out to 84 days by the time I finished. I don't know if I encouraged anyone to donate or join in, but the fundraiser had over 200k USD raised the last time I looked, so that's something. If you'd like to chip in: https://gofund.me/92d6f416

It's been rainy here for a couple of days, which is nice, even though Hamish and I are getting soaked when we go for a walk. :) My apartment is a mess and I really need to spend some time cleaning. Maybe I will do that today...
