A Wednesday greeting to everyone, thank you for allowing me to share with you a little about the things I like to do in my daily life.
One of the places that I really like to visit is the Guyana National Park, which is located in Georgetown and although many believe that it is a nature reserve, it is not. It is an urban park with a great diversity of proposals, offers and species to admire.
When you enter this place, you realize that even the air you breathe feels cleaner and lighter, because there are many trees and grass that refresh the environment.
I almost always go with my family and friends and one of the many things that I find very curious about there is that they allow fishing at will, always valuing sustainability and care for the species. We were not prepared with hooks or nets to fish, but there were some visitors next to us, fishing calmly.
The manatees caught my attention, they impose a little fear because they are very large and their snout has long whiskers. But the truth is that they are very tame and we even dare to approach them.
What my little cousin and I liked the most was the Ocelot, which looks like a very, very large cat with colors similar to leopard skin. At first, we thought it was a small jaguar, but we asked and they told us it was a type of feline called: Ocelot.
It is a very beautiful place, one of my favorites and it is also so big that they even hold kite festivals there. In a future post I will tell you about that time I went kite flying with my friends in the Guyana National Park.

Un saludo de miércoles para todos, gracias por permitirme compartir con ustedes un poquito sobre las cosas que me gusta hacer en mi día a día.
Uno de los lugares que me gusta mucho visitar es el Parque Nacional de Guyana, el cual se ubica en Georgetown y aunque muchos crean que es una reserva natural, no lo es. Es un parque urbano con mucha diversidad de propuestas, ofertas y especies para admirar.
Cuando entras a este lugar te das cuenta que hasta el aire que respiras se siente más limpio y ligero, porque hay muchos árboles y césped que refrescan el ambiente.
Casi siempre voy con mi familia y amigos y una de las tantas cosas que me parecen muy curiosas de allí, es que permiten la pesca a discreción, siempre valorando la sostenibilidad y cuidado de las especies. Nosotros no fuimos preparados con anzuelos ni redes para pescar, pero junto a nosotros sí había algunos visitantes, pescando con tranquilidad.
Me llamó mucho la atención los manatíes, imponen un poquito de miedo porque son muy grandes y su hocico tiene largos bigotes. Pero lo cierto es que son muy mansos y hasta nos animamos a acercarnos a ellos.
A mi primo pequeño y a mí lo que más nos gustó fue el Ocelote, que parece un gato muy, muy grande con colores parecidos a la piel de los leopardos. Al principio pensamos que era un jaguar pequeño, pero preguntamos y nos dijeron que era un tipo de felino llamado así: Ocelote.
Es un lugar muy bonito, uno de mis preferidos y además es tan grande que incluso hacen festivales de papalotes allí, en un próximo post les contaré sobre esa vez que junto a mis amigos fui a empinar papalotes en el Parque Nacional de Guyana.
