Hola amigos de Hive, especialmente las chicas y los chicos de Literatos.

Es un placer y un honor presentarles mi modesta participación en el Concurso: Poema en prosa o prosa poética en honor a Man Ray.

Agradezco a los organizadores de Literatos por la oportunidad de presentar texto ante tantos talentosos poetas y escribientes,

La salud y la sabiduría iluminen sus letras y sus vidas.

EL BLANCO Y NEGRO DE MAN RAY (Prosa poética)

En las anchuras la pálida luz que se sosiega, contra el negro que arremete de contrario.

Luz y sombra son anversos, dictaduras de las manos, promulgan lo que al ojo la realidad niega. ¡Oh mortales!, como todos, en los contrarios encontramos cual vastedad de riveras, las grandezas. Ahora un África no austral y primeriza que se erecta en su savia cristalina y transitoria. Otrora sobre el ancho la victoria que yace diáfana en llama que se albea y se contorna.

Alas de adioses de los prematuros besos que no fueron, no más que paroxismos de estudiantes, no mas que palaciegos itinerantes que yacen subyugados por la mano. Un réquiem de victoriales escenarios ha lanzado el poeta de la imagen, el universo de anteriores historiales, el humano deseo en contrapeso.

Ya nada será igual pues nada importa, las extremas pasiones ilusorias, las diatribas, las introspecciones necesarias para afirmar sobre piedra preciosa, los firmamentos delineados en la frente, la boca fina que palidece de estrechez, sin corazones y velo ausente, y, leyendo continuamente el antagónico anverso, puros mármoles negros, mares erráticos donde la conciencia se desgaja y luego se anega en los charcos más pueriles de las sectas.

Todo eso es el don de la figura, olvidada del azar y fascinante, encontradas en las líneas del reposo, como los rostros de Dios, la esfinge de la angélica durmiente que le abdujo como el arte, elemento primordial y humanizante, frente al eje partido de la fiera, la mancilla, el tremor, la infatigable ascensión a los anales de la Europa lapidaria y rebosante.

África es más, la extraña ausente, la excluida de los interiores esponsales que en salones se desgranan a grandezas. Pero al fin, la cúspide se plegó al imaginario y la creación fue en Man Ray una luz que hoy aflora, esbelta de lección y en forma atómica, una estrella, un fractal en blanco y negro cuajado por un rayo.

Hello, friends at Hive, and especially the esteemed ladies and gentlemen of Literatos.

It is both a pleasure and an honor to share my humble contribution to the contest Prose Poem or Poetic Prose in Honor of Man Ray. My sincere thanks to the organizers at Literatos for this opportunity to present my work alongside such talented poets and writers.

May health and wisdom continue to illuminate both your words and your lives.

MAN RAY BLACK AND WHITE (Poetic prose)

In the vast expanse, the pale light rests, calming itself against the blackness that advances from the opposite side. Light and shadow stand as opposites, dictatorships of the hands proclaiming what reality denies the eye. Oh mortals, as with all things, in opposites we discover, like immense riverbanks, a hidden greatness. Now rises a non-southern, fledgling Africa, erect in its crystalline and fleeting sap. Once, victory lay diaphanous in the flames that dawned and writhed.

Wings of farewells from premature kisses that never were, nothing more than student paroxysms, nothing more than itinerant courtiers subjugated by the hand. A requiem of triumphant scenes has been launched by the poet of the image, weaving the universe of earlier histories, with human desire as its counterweight.

Nothing will ever be the same, for nothing truly matters, not the extreme illusory passions, not the diatribes, not even the introspections needed to affirm, upon precious stone, the firmaments traced on the brow, the thin lips that pale with restraint, without hearts, without veils. And always reading the antagonistic reverse, pure black marble, erratic seas where consciousness shatters, then drowns in the most childish puddles of sects.

All of this is the gift of the figure, forgotten by chance yet fascinating, found in the lines of repose, like the faces of God, like the sphinx of the sleeping angel who abducted him as art, a primordial and humanizing element confronting the broken axis of the beast, the stain, the tremor, the tireless ascent to the annals of lapidary, overflowing Europe.

Africa is more, the strange absentee excluded from the bridal interiors, yet scattered with grandeur across the salons. And in the end, the summit bowed to the imaginary, and in Man Ray, creation became a light that emerges today, slender with lesson and atomic in form, a star, a black and white fractal set in motion by a single ray.
