The PokeSTEEM Battle League is challenging the @steemit community to take part in this week's tournament. Members of the community can battle Pokemon for a chance at the Weekly Rewards earned from this post. Those players who place within the Top 20 battlers of the week will receive the reward.
All players are welcome to make posts about their battles and take part in spreading the word of the PokeSTEEM community by using the hashtags #pokesteem #pokesteembattleleague or the current weeks hashtag example #week6pokesteem. Spreading the word of the community helps bring more rewards to the pool and will hopefully encourage the Pokemon community to want to use this platform.
This tournament will end on Sunday at 11:59 PM and all battles marked in the battle verification log will be used for the earnings leaderboard and distributed according to the following brackets.

Monotype Tournament
In a Monotype Tournament players are restricted to using Pokemon that share 1 typing. Their secondary type can be anything, an example you can have a team of flying types and some of the pokemon being normal flying, fire flying, etc.
Pokemon from the OU Tier and Below can be used, make sure to select Monotype for the format of the team. To view the Pokemon that can be used from the compatible tiers please check the links below.

In order for Players to participate in the tournament you must create teams using the Teambuilder found on Pokemon Showdown.
