Contest round #237/ Geese (Anser anser) in the park (Eng/Esp)

#### Hello feathered friends lovers # **Participating in round #237: Birds and Food** *** These photographs are of some geese that were not only looking for food but were also thirsty and drinking water on this hot day. The location is El Retiro Park in the city of Buenos Aires. They looked very funny walking among the people, pecking at the ground like this beautiful goose with beautiful feathers, looking for food. This is my favorite photography.  There are several species of geese, and here I was able to observe the so-called domestic goose (Anser anser domesticus) with white plumage and others with brown wing feathers.  At the fountain, these two white geese approached to drink water.  And this other one came over to ask for food, scaring the girl who thought they were going to peck her.  *** I have seen some people run away from a goose that approaches them. They are afraid of them because they take food from people, like seagulls in coastal areas, but they are less aggressive and also when defending their territory, like most birds. But these ones seemed very friendly and calm without being disturbed.  It was a very nice afternoon. Participando con estas fotografías en la ronda #237 de Amigos Emplumados: Aves y comida. Estas fotografías son de unos gansos que no solo estaban buscando comida, sino también tenía sed, y tomaban agua en este día de calor. El lugar es el Parque El Retiro en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Se veian muy graciosos caminando entre las personas, picoteando el piso como este hermoso ganso de hermosas plumas, buscando alimentos. Esta es mi fotografía favorita. Son aves muy lindas.  Hay varias especies de gansos y aquí pude observar el llamado ganso domestico (Anser anser domesticus) de plumaje blanco y otros con plumas de las alas de color marrón.  En la fuente estos dos gansos blancos se acercaron para tomar agua. Y este otro se acercó a pedir comida, asustando a la niña que pensaba que la iba a picar.  Es que los gansos se han acostumbrado a que les dan comida, pero el pan y las galletas no son saludables para ellos, sino su alimentación natural que son semillas, pastos y algunos frutos tipo bayas. He visto a algunas personas correr para alejarse de un ganso que se les acerca. Le tienen miedo porque les quitan la comida, como las gaviotas en las zonas costeras pero ellos son menos agresivos, aunque algunos pueden atacar. Y también cuando defienden su territorio, como la mayoria de las aves.
