Hi my fellow Hiveans, greetings to you all wherever you are this beautiful Saturday and weekend. This is my entry for this week's #beersaturday week 434 by @detlev, I am happy and excited to be partaking in it for this week. This is the Saturday and weekend in the month of October 2025. It is unusual this week I just decided to go to the mall with my wife. While she was getting groceries I was getting my beer, Coffee and my personal portable toothpaste for my travel next week. It has really been a very challenging week and I am happy that the week is ending well.
Different Stout but I have my pick
There are actually different beers appearing in the fridge, as you can see one side is my favourite Guinness Extra stout and beside it is Legend Extra Stout. For this week's #beersaturday I decided to pick the symbolic stout for this event. I love stout because they are different from all types of beer and the bitter taste is a compliment for me. It makes the taste of originality real. This is a well brewed beer and the name the Legend is not just a marketing strategy but also the originality of the taste. It has a sharp bitter sweet taste that makes it stand out among every other beer that I know of. And, to be very honest this unique taste is what makes it a Legendary stout for Legends.
Price changed in A short period of Time
The prices of things has changed so rapidly in a very short period of time. This Stout used to be my favourite when I got my first job immediately after college and then it used to be NGN200 but now it is NGN1,030 that is approximately $0.71 the inflation rate in the last one year is so enormous. But, what I am happy about is that I can still afford things that I want and need and still provide for my family as well.
