Trick or treat ... My 3D printed Halloween decoration

2020 ... a year no one will ever forget. This is the year everything changed. Normally I don't do Halloween decoration at all. In my home country (Belgium) is not really a big thing. But now being stuck in the Philippines for already 8 months I notice I want to decorate my place. To get some kind of "feeling home". And for me it's a no-go to start Xmas decoration this early. So No other option than Halloween. I combined it with autumn. This season is my favorite when you're looking to nature. I love the changing in colors of the trees. But again, in the Philippines palm trees stay green all year round.

I printed different types of leaves in 4 different colors, and some acorns as well. IMG20201014WA0001.jpeg

Next on the list are pumpkins ... of course :) IMG_20201014_193007.jpg

I wanted to make pumpkins with tea lights as well. For safety reasons I bought some led tea lights. Better safe than sorry. IMG_20201014_192807.jpg

Okay , so far for nature ... Now it's time to get the mummy, spooks and bats. After all it's Halloween ...

IMG_20201014_192918.jpg The above are inspired by the Minions. Imagine a Halloween movie with Bob, Stuart, Dave, Kevin, ...

And my fridge is covered with bats.

IMG_20201013_122801.jpg The 3 big ones I printed very thin, so I could use a lighter and heat it up a little to deform the filament.

So now my place is decorated and I'm ready for a new season ... Already start to think about my Xmas decoration :) Never thought 3D printing could be so addictive.

Meanwhile, stay safe and Trick or treat them all!
