Happy fiery 🔥 Tuesday and a very warm welcome to my world of trees this 19th day of August🌲🌳😹. As always thank you so much for stopping by yet again. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and as it comes to an end am raring to go with my stepping and the trending stories of the day. Let's get into all that and more, here we go again 💨. So I kicked off the day with a little bit of stretching then a walk around the neighborhood. Went to park then the grocery then headed back indoors. Next I got on with the chores then watched some YouTube and kept up with the trending stories. Its been a sunny 🌞 and cloudy day in equal measure but the temps have dipped off, no more extreme heat, the summer is cooling off😹. So now let's get into the other trending news of the day. The mass murder/ genocide continued in Gaza with 51 Palestinians killed in relentless Israeli airstrikes😿. 7 of them shot at 'humanitarian' food distribution centres🙀. Israel continuing with its plan to seize Gaza city, more than 450 buildings flattened in the Al Zeitoun neighbourhood as Israel seeks to displace Palestinians to the south of Gaza. There has been no reaction from Israel after Hamas responded positively to the latest ceasefire proposal. Across the border in Israel, there were protests especially from families of captives held in Gaza asking the PM netanyahu to reach a deal and facilitate the release of their loved ones. Adding that continued bombing in Gaza endangers the captives. In the other war, both Ukraine and Russia exchanged fire🙀. Ukraine fired drones into the Volgorod area of Russia. While Russia fired 270 drones into Ukraine leaving some areas with blackout after hitting power grids. Across the pond in the US, Trump says he will begin plans to bring both Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin in one meeting. Budapest, Hungary is being considered as a meeting point given that Putin has an ICC arrest warrant on his head, so places to meet are limited. I think Alaska again would be a great place to bring both leaders together, and fingers crossed for a lasting ceasefire💯. In Asia, India trending as Chinese top diplomat met Indian PM, Modi as both countries seek to mend ties. They are also both dealing with sweeping US tariffs🙀. In crazy weather, Indian city of Mumbai trending as torrential rains caused severe flooding disrupting transport, causing destruction. Lets hope everything gets back to normal soon💯. More crazy weather in Europe, high temperatures and strong winds in Spain are still fuelling wild fires that firefighting crews have been battling for over 2 weeks, though there have been cases of arrest of people who are deliberately starting fires🙀.
