Happy hump 🐪 day and a very warm welcome to my report. It is midweek and i hope everyone is doing great as we glide towards the weekend. As always thank you for stopping by and let's go ahead and look at how my day went including the stories that caught my eye 👀.Here we go again 💨. So I did my morning walk around the neighbourhood and park then got to handling the usual house chores. Later in the day, I kept up with all the trending stories and watched some YouTube and checked twitter too. I did finish off my day with the slow paced sunset 🌄 walk around the neighborhood. It looked quite cloudy but didn't rain. So now let's get into the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. Starting off in Gaza, Hamas have handed over one more body of an Israeli captive to the Red Cross. Six more bodies are yet to be found and handed over. The rubble is quite overwhelming so its gonna take some time. Meanwhile, very little aid is flowing into Gaza, the situation remains difficult, food prices are sky high, food itself quite scarce. In Africa, Sudan trending as satellite images around El Fasher show a multitude of freshly dug graves. The RSF which took over the town are accused of mass killings of civilians . They have the audacity of sharing some of the executions on social media. More than 200k people are still trapped in there. The US is working with other regional countries to end the conflict in Sudan In the UK, something is wrong in the prison system, after wrongly releasing the Ethiopian sex offender earlier in October. It is now emerging that two more offenders are on the loose after being wrongly released last week, this time from a different prison. Something somewhere is wrong. Across the pond in the US, it was democrats day yesterday. They won in Virginia, New Jersey, California and the biggest one was New York Mayor. Finally Zohran Mamdani is in office. He has promised to make life better for New Yorkers. Calling New York a city of immigrants now lead by an immigrant. Warning Trump to tread carefully😹. Lets wait and see what changes he brings, being the first Muslim mayor of New York and young at 34 years of age. On the other side, Japan trending as troops were deployed up in the north,mountain areas after a surge of attacks from bears. People have been urged not to venture outdoors in the woods in the dark, 12 people killed since January. Not far off, the Philippines trending as powerful typhoon has caused death and destruction. It caused flooding and mudslides destroying homes and infrastructure. It is now moving to Vietnam, hopefully they have taken precaution.
