Greetings to everyone@diyhub community,i hope you all are fine,i had a beautiful morning and i still anticipate a blissful night rest.
But before then,i decided to get busy with my hands
I was really eager to join this month's contest,i thought I'll start early but i could not because of motherhood responsibilities.i later received a call from a friend that she would love to visit.
Happily i knew i had to create something for her and also for my contest.
I hurrily got some materials i needed and i started making an earing.
The CD plate was an old one ,i had already discarded some while i left some in the house for decoration
While the pink colour trimming was a left over i had after a my dress.
Here are the materials i used
- Old CD plate
- Golden wirs
- plier
- Glue
- Scissors
- Pink colour trimming
- A thread and needle
The first step was a bit hard for me I got the old CD and i got my scissors I needed to carved out a triangle shape
I remember the first experience i had with CD plate, i tried cutting them into shapes but when i wanted to carve out some designs with my scissors
The CD kept breaking and it was so frustrating for me.
So this time around i was more careful than usual and i was able to carved out some triangle shapes
From the above picture i took my pink colour trimming and i wrapped it through the sides with the help of my glue
I created two more small triangle shapes and i fixed it in the middle up
The final stage was when i created the earing hook by using the golden wire and plier.
And finally the earing was set.
When my friend arrived,i told her that i have something for her as i brought out the earings she shouted with excitement and said she will love to learn how to create things like that.
I felt fulfilled and happy that at least i was able to put a smile on her face.
