Hello everyone @diyhub community,i welcome you all to a new week, and i wish that this new week will be better than the previous one. Personally,it wasn't a perfect one for me because i had to deal with some personal challenges. But i had no option than to gather some courage and i tried as i could to keep pressing and moving forward.
My kids went for a visitation in my parents place and after service i decided to visit them But before visiting them i decided to make a craft for my second daughter. Her love for crafts has been a source of motivation for me most times, especially in creating diy. And i love doing it more to make her happy.
Today i decided to create a honeybee band and
Here are the materials i used
- Yellow cardboard
- Blue cardboard
- Gum
- Scissors
- Black colour paper and
- Red colour beads.
The first steps i took was to get all the pieces i needed for the craft ready .
I got the blue colour cardboard and i cut out two circles from it.
The next step was for the yellow cardboard
I made two circles from it,a big and a small one.
The next material i got ready was some black pieces of paper.
I cut it out in straight small lines.
Next step was to create the eyes using some white piece of paper and black circle ones for the eyes and for the head, i used the smaller circle yellow cardboard i had cut,i created antenna with the black paper and fixed all of them with gum.
Next step,i got the black lines and glued it on the yellow bee,it came out in different lines and i trimmed off the excess.
Next step was for the wings,i got the blue circle and folded it onto two parts,gumed it to the yellow bee
Got two beads and fixed on it face as i made the bee's mouth with an ink.
And the last step was to create the band and i cut out a specific length of the yellow cardboard,i created the knotting point by cutting each side of the cardboard and fixing the points into each other.
And the beeband was ready.
