Hello everyone in this community, how are you all doing?
I hope you are all fine,i am grateful for the week
It's been productive and progressing
I intend to travel during the weekend to visit my aunt
And one of the best thing i can do is to sew something nice for my aunt.
I cant really predict how busy the rest of the day will be,but my intention was to sew her three new clothes and to accomplished that,j had to start sewing today, at least i was able to make one gown for her remaining two more to go.
Here are the materials i used
- Ankara fabric
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Black trimming.
The first thing i did was to fold the fabric into two
I had her previous measurements,
But since i was making a free gown i knew it will fit.
I was really careful of the style i used because i didn't want too many adjustment when i see her.
So free gown style worked perfectly for me.
i had cut out the back and the front side.
I chossed a V neck design for her, probably i wanted something different but unique. And for the sleeves it was shoulder with sleeve that i had cut
And i sew all the parts together
Next step was for the trimmings,i got the black colour trimming and i lined it on the bottom part of the gown and i sew it the gown.
Finally and in less than two hours i was through.
I am glad i had achieve something today.
