Hello everyone in this awesome and creative community, how is your weekend going?
Mine,my weekends are usually busy because of clients outfits, delivering their outfits on time is always my top priority
Today i want to share with you the top i made for a client.
The materials i used for this top are
Crepe fabric (red colour), scissors, measuring tape, pattern paper and thread .
This style was a style that i have never tried before and i was willingly to give it my very best.
And the fabric wasn't too big for my trial and error so i had to be abit careful with my cutting.
I got my pattern paper and i folded it into two
I drafted out the front side first,i had taken her measurements,i cut out the neck side, dropped the armhole,i took the shoulder measurements, the burst and the waist.
For the waist part of it after taking the measurements,i drafted and cut out the design(v-shape) my customer wanted.
The next thing was to cut out the back side
I didn't used pattern paper for the back side,it was easier for me to cut through i only added zip allowance to it
The next step was for the beading,i got some red colour crystal beads and i started beading the top corner of the dress,i wasn't so sure how it will come out but i was hopful that it will be good.
And the final step was for the sleeves,i was grateful that i had gotten to this stage and i knew that i was 90% through,so i happily fixed the sleeves and the zip and her Sunday outfit was ready.
She loved it and i hope you will like it too.
