Hello everyone in this community, how is your week going? I hope it is ok and blessed, mine isn't bad and i am expectant of more positivity.

Today i want to share with you the gown i made for my customer, she brought this fabric during last week and certainly i knew i wouldn't be able to deliver it to her then because of piled up fabrics i needed to work on. So early this morning i decided to work on her fabric.

Here are the materials i used:

  • Ankara fabric
  • Measuring tape
  • Scissors
  • Zip

From our conversation, she didn't really have any style in mind at first but all she emphasized on was a long gown,so i told her that I'll try as much has possible to see what i can do about it

So,after taking all her measurements,i cut out the the precise length with sewing allowance, the shoulder, half length, burst, hips and waist. While for the back side,i included zip allowance as i cut it out.

I also cut out the lining for both sides and sew them on it.

For the front part of the gown,i decided to add a little design to it,i got a fabric that would blend or match the Ankara fabric and i attached it to the front side.

Then i cut out the sleeves,i made short sleeve for it But i also combined the plain fabric to it for a beautiful design and it came out well Finally the gown was ready and hopefully she will pick it up tomorrow.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GOING THROUGH MY POST.
