Hello everyone @needleworkmonday community How was your weekend?i hope it was great. Mine was full of activities yet it was productive. I want to share with you all one of the things that i did during the weekend. I had finished up early around 4pm and i felt i needed to rest a bit, well, while i was resting i also thought of clearing up my trash and i quickly stood up to do it. But i had a second thought about disposing the pieces of fabric i felt it could be useful therefore i decided to make some hair scrunchies from the pieces i had left.

Here are the simple materials i had used - Piece of scrap fabrics - Elastic - Scissors

Here are the few steps i took in making these scrunchies Firstly i took each piece of fabric i cut and trimmed off the rough edges I got my measuring tape and for the width measurements i took four inches And for the length of each fabric, the measurements was dependent on the size of the fabric For some, i took 22 inches, some were 15inches and i gussed the longest length was 25inches. So the next step i tool was ,i got to my sewing machine i sew it,with the help of safety pin i was able to change it to the right side. I cut out some elastic and i fixed it in and i sew. Then i closed up the space. I dtod this repeatedly for the rest of the fabric.

My scrunchies came out well and my intentions are to give it out as gifts to has many people as i can I gave out two beautiful colours and i am sure that before the week runs out i will give all out.

THANK YOU
