Iron Suspension Bridge

Hello Hive Community.

I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. My post today is based Qurator's Photo Quest Contest topic is Guiding lines. Today, after a month, I am participating in the Qurator Photo Quest contest. In the photo above, I am presenting a beautiful iron suspension bridge passing through a lush green valley surrounded by tall trees and hills. One of the most important features of this bridge is its guide lines, which are also the subject of today's contest. These iron lines play a major role in the strength, balance and safety of the bridge. These guide lines, made of strong steel ropes, are the basis of the entire structure. They help strengthen the bridge and help people cross safely even over deep valleys or rivers.

As I mentioned earlier, the guide lines are thick cables running from one end of the bridge to the other. These cables are tightly stretched and are attached to strong pillars or towers at both ends. These lines hold the main weight of the bridge and provide support that keeps the walkway hanging steadily between the two sides.

If you look closely at the photographs above, you will notice that from the main guide lines, small vertical cables are hanging at equal distances. These small cables connect the main line to the iron deck below. They distribute the weight evenly along the entire length of the bridge. They ensure that no one part bears too much pressure. This design also helps the bridge to move slightly when people walk or when the wind blows without losing its balance. From an engineering point of view, the guide lines are made of high-tensile steel. Which is extremely strong and resistant to corrosion and weather. These cables are designed to last for many years. Even in places like these, where the air is humid and the bridge is surrounded by dense vegetation, iron is most likely to rust.

I hope that my post and photographs are selected in the Qurator's Photo Quest Contest Guiding lines .

I sincerely thank you for visiting and reading my post.
