17 Mile, Manali. A village by the side of river Beas. With the houses that we had to count for.

IMG_1213.jpeg Julley Everyone, A beautiful day out here in Manali. Just sitting around. A thought came into my mind. A thought of why not revisiting the old memories that I once used to live by on my mountain bike. Once a few years! Sharing with the Hive blog on my cycling posts! Exploring these hidden worlds of Manali Himalayas.

IMG_1224.jpeg There was this place. This particular bridge that I nearly uses to visit every day! Sometimes on my morning walk or sometime would like to cycle on to this spot which was rightly at the Middle of two Places Kullu and Manali and from Baragran where I uses to start my journey.

Though the place was named 17Mile no idea for what but as far as I Know it was the center between Patlikuhal and Manali. It was truly a peaceful place. A bridge quite old built on the River beas connecting the Old Kalath Village having houses less than 10 and on the right the houses were countless.

IMG_1245.jpeg The ground that could be seen right in front of us as also in the picture once used to be a Hot Himalayan Spring Bath. But due to the floods few years back it nearly destroyed everything. It was not the same as it used to be. But the vibe the Peace was still the same as it used to be. Every breadth reminds me of the days when I used to ride the place at the speed of the wind not thinking much just living the life and the moment.

IMG_1243.jpeg Now what we had by the side of the road was the destructed land. All of rocks and stones.

IMG_1238.jpeg The landslides and the floods just took over the happiness of this place. Which was all because of the climate change.

The Kalath Bridge.

This was the particular place that I used to visit guys! And it was round 7 KM from Patlikuhal and just a few miles after 17 Mile village after Kalath.

IMG_1225.jpeg I would say it is the most peaceful and heavenly place in Manali. Imagine the reality sitting right at the middle of the Valley and that too over the centre of the river. Early in the morning as waking up to see the sunrise. It was something as blissful as it would seem like.

The Tibetian Flags

IMG_1227.jpeg The moments of the holy Tibetan Flags that to the wind blowing would also enhance the Peace of the place. Each of the colour depicting the colour of life filled up of the holy chants onto it.

IMG_1228.jpeg

The light Shimmering through the heavenly flags.

IMG_1226.jpeg

Just be crossing the bridge over the path would divide into two. One would lead to the Old Kalath Village where the Lahuli People used to live of the other would lead to the Tibetain School maybe not sure.

IMG_1235.jpeg

Just right straight would be another Spring Bath. Along with a Tibetan Cafe.

IMG_1232.jpeg So thats all for today guys. I hope you liked it.

IMG_1231.jpeg Thanks for your precious time. 🙏 Love from the Himalayas. ❤️
