IMG_4142.jpeg Julley Everyone,

Waking up every single day to a new adventure, that’s what I have been thinking about and experiencing from the past few days. As here I was in my hometown in Manali Himachal Pradesh. I came to my hometown completed my college just moved to my hometown.

I had few months at this place as I will be going to another place after a while, but adventure should not stop, so it’s the day where I decided to explore and go on some experiences and some expedition where I could explore the places And share my journey with you guys through this post as a person who just loves nature and loves to be around the nature and be a part of nature. Here, I get an opportunity to explore the hidden places here in the Himalayas and beyond.

IMG_4147.jpeg A beautiful day out here today, somewhere around 15 km before Manali, where their lie, this beautiful Valley Hallan Valley in an hidden isolated place away from hustle and bustle was this beautiful village of Hallan. Without thinking much, I went on this journey in my car.

I always had thoughts about visiting this place as it was the place that I could see right next to the mountain where I was where my hometown was. I had visited this place, but it was the summer season and the monsoon season just begin, and where there were these different variations in the flora and Fiona of this place, totally change and vegetation or something that I had experienced when I was at this place.

Trails around.

IMG_4144.jpeg I was so enthusiastic to explore this place, and once I was at this place, I found out that there were these different trails going by the side of the mountain, and I also parked my car by the side of the road and started my journey exploring that where the trails would take us to.

IMG_4143.jpeg It was nearly very narrow trail nearly we would fit on the trail. It was just about half feet broad, and it was by the side of the mountain.

It felt like that we were so were we not sure where we would reach, but it fell like that I was so, and so closer to the nature when I was at this place.

IMG_4145.jpeg The moment looked something just like this. There were these trees, the fallen leaves on the ground that were frozen, even in the summer season.

It felt like that all of the trees they were frozen, frozen dry was something that the leaf felt like maybe because they were just forming up years and years as the years just passed by the vegetation, the leaves fell and formed a sort of a layer on the ground.

IMG_4148.jpeg After walking and enjoying the moment and walking through the trail making our journey I reached at the spot where the road it felt that it was just below us. We had been hiking for more than 15 to 20 minutes and we reached at this particular spot.

I also carried a small bag that you can see in my hand in the picture as during this season. I also felt like that I should also collect some local fern (Lingadi) that only grow in the monsoon season and is considered as a himalayan herb and is considered tasty and rare in the himalayan culture in the kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh.

IMG_4149.jpeg When I was at this place, I found few of the tiny plants of the Fern called Lingadi in the local Pahadi language, and I thought why not to collect them, and that was something that the whole point of adventure also turned about something so we were in search of Lingadi.

A tiny Lingadi Plant.

IMG_4151.jpeg So we also started finding out and finding them out here at this place, and we even collected few of them.

They were very few number. They only grow at some portions of the himalayan ranges and the himalayan mountains.

IMG_4152.jpeg The Lingadi

IMG_4134.jpeg It had been the time of the afternoon, my friends and my day. It was just going a day filled with a lot of adventure at the place, and then we reached and made our Way. Tell the spot which was called.

The Kala Patthar. From where we could make our way to the place where we parked our car and also explore some other portion of the mountain. This mountain was mighty huge where there were these countless number of things to explore and wonder around.

IMG_4135.jpeg

The Kala Patthar.

This huge rock, which was just straight was something that looked like a wall that was of the nature, such places, such things it amaze me my friends, and amazes me to capture the beauty of them as it feels like that I have been somewhere so closer to the nature And also a part of it.

IMG_4136.jpeg We even found another of Lingadi just right by the side of Kala Patthar.

IMG_4137.jpeg

IMG_4138.jpeg The Lingadi Plant Looks something just like this. There even are few other variations and few varieties of the same and which are even poisonous.

So knowing the correct one of it was something that the local people taught me it was about the looking of the size and shape of this plant, and also figuring it out that is it edible or not, was a risky task.

IMG_4139.jpeg The Moss was also something that I noticed which was growing by the rocky wall the Kala Patthar yes, I believe it is at some portions where the air-quality is really very positive and truly it was every single breath that you’ll take at this place will feel like that you’re breathing when I was at the city in Delhi. The air quality which was really very terrible.

I always used to feel drastic change when I have to go to my hometown, and that was something that I felt like even when I wonder around the Himalayas, especially at the places where I find Moss the air quality feels more positive, and it is the natural healing process and natural indicator of the nature. What I thought about and what I believe.

IMG_4140.jpeg Until now, there even was lot of other varieties of the fern Lingadi plant that was growing at this place, and it looks something just like this. We had been wondering around for more than five hours till now, and the clock also turned to 2 PM in the afternoon when it was finally the time to go home and which would take another drive of an hour or so, so we also had it straight back to our car, and we had a surprise !

IMG_4146.jpeg The surprise was that out of nowhere, the tyre of our car got puncture and I always carried electric pump with me, so we had no problem and the moment I realised I felt like that we should always have a back up, especially a car pump or something else whenever travelling in the mountains, so it was another learning that I learned today and sharing, especially this moment with you through this post. All in all in it in itself the day, it was just a fantastic one, and where I got to learn.

I got to know more and more about the mountains that only a mountain can teach us or the nature can teach us. I tried capturing these photographs from different perspectives of my whole journey so that you guys could enjoy the hidden beauty of the Himalayas.
