12:40 PM Somewhere Beyond the Valleys of Nyoma Ladakh. 13,700 ft above the sea level.
Julley Everyone,
Sharing this adventure may be a story or my experience or so, and beyond. It was a dream about visiting this dreamy place. I always used to think that places like this would only exist in dreams, but when I got to know about this place, the regions and the lands beyond the Himalayas beyond the cold Himalayan desert and beyond the high altitude Himalayan mountains. What is this hidden corner in this beautiful world, the most amazing adventure that I had on where the landscapes just truly looked unnatural where are you imagination would just flip on the other side as what we would just think about when seeing the mountains, the the higher altitude Mountain peaks, and so and beyond, but when I was at the place, I myself felt as a mountain as a part of it, as there was nothing beyond me, except the blue sky, the endless blue sky.
Starting this day off at the outskirts of the most nearest village that I would call Nyoma in the South most region of Ladakh, where it took me more than about 1100 km drive from Delhi all the way to this place and my friends these days the adventures the landscapes that I have seen it felt like it was a whole lot of a different world that I just visited on in this post, I will be sharing my journey where we will be wandering around the isolated valleys, unknown beyond the Nyoma Village of Ladakh.
The GPS Map
Usually whenever I plan my adventures, they are just the beginning of the maps where I just think about the mountains. Study about the landscapes and make the way out you just wonder around so was this a quick glimpse of the screenshot that I talk about my adventure where you guys will get some information about my adventure that how it would be and how it just went on. So on my left hand side was the Nyoma village. A quite ancient village in these regions of Leh and Ladakh beyond the Cold Himalayan Desert. Just right next to the banks of river Indus and I found out that it was quite a broad Valley as the mountain peaks at this altitude place being more than higher altitude of more than 4000 m above the sea level and it felt like that even I was a part of a mountain as wherever I could just wander around we were at and higher attitude place all together and I saw that there was this whole road that was going beyond this mountains by the side of the mountains. So I thought why not just wander around and explore this beautiful magical wonderland so it was the beginning of my journey..
Somewhere beyond the capital of India, New Delhi were we and we had to cover this whole distance up and just the journey went on and we were now finally add this beautiful magical wonderland.
The place hardly had any cellular network connection. No Wi-Fi I was just literally cut off by the world. When I visited the place all that I knew about the location about the village and the regions beyond. It was when I captured this photographs there was this location stamp that were in the photographs so I knew about that where I was so I was on these mountain ranges wondering beyond and beyond these mountain places. Exploring these regions in capturing the beauty of it. Not sure about that where we were headed at this region has only I had as a reference was the name of the village which was Nyoma and now all that I knew it was the trail the road that would take us beyond. I will sure that the world's highest high-altitude hospital was also in this village that had nearly few houses and highest population. As far as I remember as I read somewhere, it was not more than 1000 all over the place.
So were these mountains built right next to the small mountain places and it was just a straight road quite well built and that certain terms I hear about at certain points there was no parking zone at certain points. There was blow horn zone and rightly it was correct to us. This was the high altitude place in the mountains and anything could happen at any time as it was the cold himalayan desert even though it was the summer season out here to out the Himalayas during this time, but still it might snow even nobody knows at any part of time and all of this cold himalayan desert. The dry regions would turn into a white paradise. It was quite unusual about the place as we were at a really very high altitude place where nothing grows because we were above the tree line.
The geographical conditions were such that it was really very hard to grow. Any sort of vegetation duand rightly it was correct to us. Only few of the wild plants, the wild vegetation that would even grow by just right close to the river banks. Also the riverbanks formed up by the melting of glacier and ice. It was really a whole lot of different geography about the place. My friends that I had till now I remember it was around 1 PM in the afternoon where we were just wondering around in the snow time. The time just went by. We were just covering up the distance. It went to 4 PM in the evening and then to 5 and six just wondering around exploring and capturing these beautiful moments.
Miles and miles away. All that we could see there were these sand dunes, the sand mountains that was just literally the mountain peaks of the place and then the endless plains. At this region. It felt like that I was somewhere in the middle of the sky right behind me right in front of me and right above me all that I could see was the sky and it felt like that sky was just right above our heads as the clouds they were getting heavy it might rain but the cold himalayan desert usually faces any sort of precipitation and all the snowfall that even takes place in the winter season. It just direct snowfall at the place.
These were literally the vast grounds Miles and miles and a decision that we would take about just getting closer to the mountain that busy writing front of us would be the most craziest decision yes we just thought about why not get closer to the place that we could as where we could see the mountain peaks and we just started her journey on but my friends there was no think no type of vegetation that we would take the reference to about that how far the distance could be it could be around 10 km away could be around 50 km away nobody knows as they were not thought of anything that week we could just figure out the distance from this place where we were just standing right now and that was the type of magical thing that I just experienced when I was at the more we were getting closer to our destination it felt like it was getting more and more far away.
And at certain points, we even saw the mountain peaks covered with thick blanket of snow. I think the snow usually used to last throughout the whole year. During these seasons in these mountain peaks and that certain points there was this wild grass that was just growing giving us a type of glimpse that amount as a turning green and green but all together it was just the wild grass. My friends it was really a whole lot of a different geographical location as previously said and I really enjoyed seeing the we was my friends, it was something that these places would even exist that I was thinking about in the dreams and truly it was something that was just so hard to just believe that what are eyes were just looking at.
It was getting a feeling that we were getting closer to the river Indus has the river Indus just goes to go criss-cross just between these mountain peaks as this mountain peaks and the glaziers that just melt the snow and ice just acts as the tributary to the river and that was the reason why are certain points then watch this sort of greenery which was giving a glimpse of the vegetation at the place.
It was around 5 PM in the evening when we finally reached at the spot where we saw that this road it was getting far and far away until now we had covered the distance up of more than 180 km is from Leh town all the way to the southmost regions of this place. And now from this place, we could see that there was a sort of formation between the valleys where we could just spot that even as this right next to the board which was seen right in front of me I could see that there was the sort of tributary which was going down the valley and I was getting feeling that we were kind of getting lost in this beautiful magical wonderland and all together. This road just acted as a cycling moment as the point where we just started our journey and we reached at the same spot in just few hours. It was really a whole lot of different experience that I had on my friends and I was at this place and till now on this side of the valley I saw no houses no cars not even a single person or a single animal it went like that I was all alone in this world just driving bye and capturing the beauty all together. It was just whole lot of a different trip.
The never ending Valleys.
Finally after driving for quite a while. We finally spot the river Indus and right next to it as far as I remember was the village Nyoma.
Starting a journey as early as 8 AM. Finally driving through out the day. Just reaching this place around 1 PM in the afternoon and now it just watch the evening time. It was really hold out of a different day that I would never forget for the rest of my life that how I just ended up being in the most isolated place in this planet and now sharing my experience with you guys through this post, do let me know my friends what are the photographs you like the most in the comment section, I would love to hear it from you. I tried capturing as many photographs as I got so that I could share such hidden moments, hidden adventures directly from the Himalayas.
