IMG_2537.jpeg Julley Everyone,

A beautiful day out here in the Himalayas as today, I got to know that there was this festival going on where there was this traditional carpet market that used to occur here in the Kullu region of Himachal Pradesh, Himalayas, and without thinking to go and explore the hidden beauty of this beautiful market and capture my journey with you and share it with you guys through this post, so the journey begin something just like this.

IMG_2546.jpeg Starting my day off as early as 9 AM when I was at this place and guys right in front of me, was this traditional market that only used to take place only at certain times during the entire month and that was the perfect period when I got to know about this place, and I decided to explore and capture the hidden beauty of this beautiful festival of the Himalayas.

IMG_2545.jpeg The moment I reached here, I saw this wooden shop that had these different types of article articles for sale, and they were crafted by the himalayan craft-mans. It was so amazing to see these different types of structures that were at this place and for a moment, I really enjoyed the whole vibe that this place had.

The Carpet Market.

IMG_2539.jpeg Then, after quite a while the moment I just entered the whole place. Then I was welcomed by the carpet market where there were these different types of carpets that were crafted by the Ladakhi artist and were all handwoven and it was so amazing to see these different types of patterns that this place had.

IMG_2540.jpeg They were different colours all around and they were quite a lot in number all in all in itself. It was just of the carpet that was at this place was so amazing to see all of these carpets at this particular stop.

IMG_2542.jpeg Countless number of pieces along with the countless number of designs and that was something that I noticed when I was at this place, there were these different types of variations of the patterns that this market had of these carpets and all of them they were crafted by the craft men’s from the Ladakh region of Himalayas that was the northern portion and himalayan Desert and the profession. I got to know that these people had got was that during Most time of the year, the places they were covered with a thick blanket of snow and the people instead of farming and getting out of their place used to view these carpets, and then, during such festivals used to bring out their articles that they produced for sale and that’s how the custom started at this place.

IMG_2536.jpeg There were different types of shops nearby at this particular market as this festival. It was in a place called Dhalpur in kullu. Which was the district of Himachal Pradesh and was around 30 km from Manali.

IMG_2538.jpeg I wondered the place for quite a while captured these different types of variations and captured such traditional fairs at this place. As what I realised when I was at this place was that in the upcoming few years, these fears would now change and there would be no such traditional markets that used to set up as as far as the technologies is growing and even in the Himalayas and these mountain regions. Also, The e-commerce is growing and That would decrease the culture that the people used to had where the people from the northern region of Himalayas used to bring out their articles and they used to be this big fair at the place and big festival in which people used to gather and enjoy that would be that’s gonna go out of trend in the upcoming few years.

IMG_2534.jpeg Guys, I tried capturing as many photographs as I could so that I could share the moments with you, and even you guys could experience such beauty hair in the Himalayas. Do let me know guys that what are the particular potions of my adventure that you like the most in the comment section, and I would love to hear it from you.

The Last Wooden Market Stop

IMG_2530.jpeg In the end, while I was wondering this place I saw that there were these also stores of the wooden craft that the people had brought and it was a sort of chair set, which was for showpiece purpose that was constructed by the bamboo and it was so amazing to see these tiny things as it was really craft membership. That was the two piece of art that I saw her in this himalayan festival.

IMG_2533.jpeg I wandered around the place for quite a while nearly it had been three hours that I was at this particular stop just wondering by enjoying the whole moment and the whole day. It was so lovely. So amazing to see such beautiful moments and capturing the beauty of it, and capturing the moments that would Last forever as in the upcoming few years such moments I don’t think it’s gonna exist because of the changing world and changing traditions, even here in the Himalayas.
