Good day to all my dear friends. How are you doing? Capsicum, also known as bell pepper, is a wonderful vegetable that combines vibrant colors and a unique taste, making it suitable for almost any dish while also adding beauty to the plate. When turned into a curry, it truly becomes something special. A spicy and flavorful capsicum curry not only highlights the natural crunch and taste of the peppers but also blends perfectly with a fragrant mix of spices. It’s an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys bold flavors and wants to add more variety to their daily meals. The best part is that it’s simple to prepare, healthy, and pairs perfectly with rice, roti, or bread, making it a versatile option for both lunch and dinner. Let’s take a look at how this dish is prepared.
Materials Used.
Capsicum 250g. Coconut milk 400ml. A tomato cut into rounds. A finely chopped onion. Some chopped curry leaves. About 3 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced. Salt as needed. 3 Tablespoon of coconut oil. 1/2 Teaspoon of Mustard Seeds. 2 Teaspoon of chilli powder. 1 Teaspoon of curry powder. 1/3 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
The cooking process as follows.
Now let’s get ready to prepare this dish. First, wash the capsicums thoroughly and cut them into small, lengthwise pieces.
Next, take a cooking pan and add about three tablespoons of coconut oil. Place it on the stove, and once heated, add mustard seeds, chopped garlic, curry leaves, and onions. Allow them to sauté until fragrant.
Next, add the chopped capsicum pieces along with salt to taste, and mix well.
Now add the required spices along with some chopped tomatoes, and mix well. Let it cook for about 3 minutes, then remove from the stove.
