Hello and welcome to my blog.
It has been some time since I shared an update on my StakeHouse Den's journey. I have been playing it for a few weeks now. You may have already seen the game, but if you haven't, it is a play-to-earn casino game on Hive. There are currently three games here: Blackjack, Slots and Roulette. My favourite is Blackjack because you feel like you are in some control rather than just pure luck.
But to play these games, you need a currency called Hotsauce, which is automatically generated based on the number of cards staked and their rarity. You obtain these cards by purchasing Ladyluck Packs from the market. I bought a total of about 8 packs since I started playing this, but I haven't staked all of them yet. You need 2 Script tokens per card staked. I have staked a total of 9 cards. You can merge these cards to level them up, which generates more Hotsauce.

When I logged in today after a few days of inactivity, I opened my refrigerator to see how much Hotsauce I have generated. It was just shy of 90 Hotsauce. Good for playing some rounds of Blackjack, I thought.

#### Playing Blackjack
I wanted to play more than one round of Blackjack, so I went for just a 10 Hotsauce bet in the first round. I lost that quickly as I got busted.
But on the second round, I doubled the bet to 20 in hopes of recovering my loss from the previous round. I was pleased to see a 9 and a King, making my total of 20 already. This is considered pretty safe, so naturally, I stayed and won this round.

---
One interesting thing that happened in this round is that the dealer, after getting a King, got a 2, even an Ace, another 2 and a Jack. It took five cards for the dealer to bust. That's very rare after getting a Face card as the first card.
The next round, I stayed at a total of 18, thinking it wasn't that bad. Incidentally, the dealer got 18 too, and that round was a draw.
In the next round, I got another 18 and just like last time, I stayed, but this time the dealer got another face card and won against me. This was a 20 Hotsauce bet round, too.

---
I still had about 40 Hotsauce left, and I wanted to try my luck at the roulette wheel too. So, I played a last round betting just 10 Hotsauce.
I won the last round because I got a soft 21 and won that round. My first two cards were a Jack and a 4, totalling 14. I was hoping to get a 5,6, or 7, and I got a 7. Perfect!
Seems like it was my lucky day. Two rounds of 20 bets won. The winnings were not a lot because of my less Hotsauce generation/spending, but I am trying to increase it slowly but surely.
I still had 30 Hotsauce left to be gambled on the wheel.

##### Playing Roulette
I played a total of two rounds, in both I picked the red colour, which has almost a 50% chance of winning. In the first round, I bet just 10, and in the second round, I went for the 20 Hotsauce bet. I am happy to report that I won both rounds.

---
Today was my lucky day at the casino. I wished I had more Hotsauce to spend. I spent about 400 the other day and lost most of the rounds that day. :)
Let me know if you are playing it as well and if you have gotten any Legendary cards yet. I have one Legendary card to flex as of now. Hopefully, I will get more soon.

---
My plan would be to stake more cards and increase my Hotsauce generation rewards. I have already increased my refrigerator size to store up to 500 Hotsauce. Let's see how soon I have to upgrade it again to increase the capacity even more.
