Crossing 17K HP Milestone: Highlights of my Hive Journey

Hello and welcome back to my blog!  --- I will complete 4 years on the blockchain next month. In these four years, I met many people from all over the world, befriended some of them, learned a great deal about the world, and grew as a person overall. I was able to achieve many personal milestones. Earning my first 1000 HP felt like a big deal, but now that I've just crossed the 17000 HP milestone, it all feels like a dream. So, in this post, I want to share some of the highlights of my Hive journey. --- #### Writing 1000 Posts I used to be a big introvert. On Web2 platforms like Facebook or Instagram, I hardly ever post, let alone comment. But I even surprised myself. I recently received the Hivebuzz badge for writing 1000 posts, and I’m also close to hitting 10,000 comments. If you had told me a few years ago that I’d reach this kind of milestone on social media, I would have laughed so hard at you. But here I am, with over a thousand posts and thousands of comments. No wonder—it’s all because I genuinely enjoyed being on Hive throughout these years. ||| |-|-| --- #### 17000 HP Milestone My posts received a lot of love, and I was able to power up most of my author rewards into Hive Power. That’s how I reached 17,000 HP in my wallet, even while also paying bills and upgrading my PC with Hive earnings. Since joining this platform, I’ve felt much more financially free. I could buy my favourite games, share them here, and even get support at the same time. --- #### Practice makes Perfect As I said earlier, I rarely wrote anything on Web2 social media, and my writing skills were trash back then. They’re still not perfect, but if you look at my earliest posts on Hive, the difference is clear. It’s been a long, fruitful journey. My writing got better, and so did my listening and speaking skills. I pushed myself to join a lot of shows where I had to speak in English, which is actually my third language. It wasn’t easy, but now I feel fairly confident in both speaking and writing. --- #### Hosting a Show One thing I never thought I’d achieve was hosting my own live show. But I did! I hosted a show on @ecency for many months. Sadly, I couldn’t continue it long-term, but it was a lot of fun while it lasted. Some shows, including the aftershows with friends, went on for more than 5 hours!  --- #### Helping Newbies At the start of my journey, I got a lot of help from experienced Hiveians. So once I understood how the blockchain worked, I made sure to give back. I started helping newcomers, even giving one-on-one Discord lessons to a few people who are now doing really well today. Honestly, that’s one of my biggest achievements so far. Helping a random stranger and then watching them grow. It’s one of the best feelings. I originally came here to play Splinterlands and other Web3 games, but I stayed because of the love and support I received. I made some amazing friends early on, and they made the journey even more memorable. Special shoutout to @yaziris and @queenstarr ...if it weren’t for them, I might have lost interest quickly. Thank you both! Over the years, so many others have helped me, too. If I listed everyone, it would take forever—but I remember every one of them, even those who aren’t active here anymore. Thanks to all the amazing souls who’ve been part of this journey. **Thank you, HIVE!** ---
