Hello and welcome back to my blog!
With the release of Hollow Knight Silksong coming closer, it is making my backlog of games even longer. I am afraid that I won't be able to play much of Horizon Zero Dawn. It has some amazing landscapes and is fun to play. I love to spend a lot of time in its photo mode rather than playing and completing missions.
My favourite region of the game is the snow biome, and today I will be showing some shots of that.

The mountains in the backdrop make a perfect border for the world, but I wish you could climb on the peaks and see the whole land from there.
One of the machines that is almost everywhere is a Grazer. They were one of the first machines created to convert grass into Blaze. They are always working and seem to be extracting things from the ground.

---
Another interesting one is the Shellwalker; they have a large metal box on top, probably used for storing items and transporting valuable materials. They are no slouch when it comes to fighting, shooting lasers and wielding a shield in one mechanical arm.
For me, they are the crab machine. And I always have a lot of fun fighting these guys.

This wilderness is not a good place to thrive. Even some machines couldn't survive the harsh climate.

---
I climbed one of the local hills to see what the world looks like, but it didn't turn out that well, and I fell. This shot was taken while I was about to hit the ground. Night made it even more dangerous for me to see properly.

The old buildings here have been converted into outposts where tribal communities live. But some of them were captured by Bandits and rival tribes. You have to liberate these outposts.

---
I love the way everyone ignores piles of dead bodies on the floor and just does their business like it is a normal day here. Two dead bodies shouldn't come in between a trade deal involving 10 metal shards...should it? xD

---
The forests here are stunning. Everything is covered with a sheet of snow. The white tree leaves and snow on the grass with a dense forest filled with dangerous machines and humans, is a good way to experience this game's beauty.

---
Those red tall grasses are perfect to hide and draw your prey closer. I prefer a stealth approach just because it is a much more rewarding experience. Making strategies on how to get the entire herd without spooking them will always be fun for me. But it doesn't work with large machines.

I will finish this post with a foggy night shot, you can see how the moon is barely visible in the sky. The blue tint is a bit too strong for my liking, but that atmosphere is perfect for some light hunting in the game. Makes it much more exciting.

Let me know if you liked these shots and which one is your favourite.
Thanks for reading.
Until next shot...
