StakeHouse Den: Playing Games and Staking a Gold Foil Epic!

Time to give you an update on my StakeHouse Den's journey. You might have seen it already. It is a play2earn casino game on Hive. I have been playing it for a month or so. I haven't been too active in it and have been playing it semi-passively for a month or so now. It offers three games: Blackjack, Roulette and Slots. I like Blackjack the most as it is the least, which is based on luck alone. There is a catch, though, it is not simply gambling a token in a casino, thinking of winning those games. The amount of win depends on the currency called Hotsauce, which is automatically generated based on the number of cards staked. You get these cards by purchasing and opening Ladyluck Packs from their website. I will give all the links at the end of the post. Each pack contains 5 cards with varying rarity. Staking a Legendary card will generate more Hotsauce than staking a normal card. I bought a total of 8 Ladyluck packs and staked the best cards among them. You can combine the same cards to level them up, which generates more Hotsauce per day. I haven't staked them all because each card stake requires you to stake 2 Script tokens. So, if you are staking 9 cards, you need 18 Hotsauce staked for them to generate Hotsauce.  --- I logged in today after about a week of inaction and saw that my refrigerator had collected 167 Hotsauce, which I claimed. It will be perfect for playing some good rounds of Blackjack and Roulette. Maybe I can gamble away some in Slots, hoping to hit the jackpot?  #### Playing Blackjack I wanted to play more than one round of Blackjack, so I went for just a 30 Hotsauce bet and did it for a total of four rounds. Last time, my luck was good. Let's see how good we can get today.  --- I stayed at 19, which gives me good chances to win. And that's exactly what happened. I won the first round. In the second round, I got a Q and 4, making 14, so I hit, but I got a mere 3, which brought my total to 17. I don't like that because hitting after that is risky, and staying at that gives me almost no confidence. But because the bust chances are high, I stayed and lost this round.  --- In this third round, I lost as soon as the cards were dealt. The dealer got a blackjack. Looks like my luck is not supporting me today. It was time for the last round of Blackjack. Each of those rounds had 30 Hotsauce bets, and this time I got good cards. When I hit, my total got to 19, and this is a good point to stay. I won with a small margin, 18 against my 19. I will take that gladly.  --- I still had almost 50 Hotsauce left, and I wanted to try my luck at the roulette wheel and slots, so I didn't play any more rounds. Two rounds won and two lost is not that bad, especially considering one of them was lost on blackjack. It was time to have more fun and gamble at the wheel.  ##### Playing Roulette I played a total of two rounds, in both I picked the red colour, which has almost a 50% chance of winning. In the first round, betting 10 Hotsauce each.  --- Just like in Blackjack, my win rate was half again. I won the first round but lost the second one. Last time, I won two rounds in a row, but not today. Maybe I will do better on the Slots. However, I know that odds on slots are not in your favour. But maybe I can get the jackpot, who knows?  #### Playing Slots I don't do slots, but there is an automatic spinning option where you can put your bet and the number of times it will spin and wait patiently. I placed like 12 spins and watched my Hotsauce slip out slowly lol.  --- Out of all those spins, I won only one with only x2 odds. So, this wasn't the best day for slots.  #### Staking another Gold Foil Epic Let me know if you are playing it as well and if you have gotten any Legendary cards yet.
