The Wild Beauty of Horizon Zero Dawn

In my last gaming photography [post](https://peakd.com/hive-185676/@pravesh0/the-deserts-of-horizon-zero), I showcased the Desert of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. This time I will share more shots from the game, not about any one theme, but a lot of different shots I have taken while playing this beautiful game. Let me start with a sunset shot.  --- I love this shot, especially how the clouds diffuse that orange hue in the background, which fills the entire scene. Those tree leaves are reflecting those bright colours as well. It is like we are in the Autumn season, one of my favourite seasons. The river in the foreground completes the composition. If you follow this river, you will see a lot of wooden bridges on it. One of them is this:  --- This time around, the sky has a lot fewer clouds and bright, soft light, which fills the scene. I like that wooden design, even though those blue ropes form a bit of a pattern and make it stand out. There are a lot of machines in the game that are the primary source of threat. These seem to be modelled after some common animals in our world.  --- Some of them are smaller and easier to hunt, but they live in herds, so they can be challenging to take down, while others are big, bulky and tough to break. These are generally found alone or in small groups.  --- But Aloy is not afraid of anyone. She has strong arms! Look how she is teasing a Scrapper.  --- Her trusty bow is all she needs to take down these machines. I love the way snow is shown in this game. There are frequent snowfalls and storms, everything is covered in snow, even the small shrubs, and when you walk past them, the soft snow cover on the ground will go away. Very minute detail, but that's what makes a good game amazing...right?  --- I can show you those details with the help of this next shot.  --- I was testing some poses to see which one would fit best while I was standing on the top of a local hilltop. I went with one of the sitting poses to show how lonely it can be sometimes in this wilderness. There is a layer of fog and mist in this area, which completely hides the base of the mountain in the background. I like it.  --- Sunsets in this part of the world are magical as well. I have to say that the game knows how to paint beautiful pictures with light and colours.  --- The transition between the snow-covered area and the desert looks a bit weird to me. One tree stood out to me, so I had to capture it to show you.  --- Back in the grasslands, a big herd of Grazers were consuming the grass and converting it into Blazes. It looks peaceful until they detect you and either try to run away or, worse, attack you. But thankfully, they are one of the easiest machines to take down in the game.  --- Let me know if you liked these shots and which one is your favourite.
