Jhaalmoori time! As I mentioned up in the title this is a dish which will leave you craving for more more!

Jhalmoori is bengal's most popular street snacks. Jhalmoori Its a bengali word. Jhal means spicy and moori is Puffed rice. This mouthwatering Jhaalmoori is love for me. Its my favourite anytime snacks. There are different ways to make this dish. Sometime I used only tomato and cucumber with some salt ans mustard oil. And sometimes I make full authentic Jhaalmoori. All depends on mood and time. As soon we finished making this we have to serve it immediately because the puff rice will began to be soft.

So today I am sharing the Jhaalmoori recipe with you all. You can have this recipe at anytime.

So lets see what we need to make this spicy, savoury and delicious snacks !!


Ingredients-

Boiled potato-½cup Cucumber-½cup Tomato-½cup Onion-⅓cup Greenchilies-2 Peanuts- handful Coriander leaves-1 tbspn Mustard oil-1tbspn Salt-as needed Redchili powder-⅓tspn Muri masala i.e bhaja masala-1tbpn Lemon juice- 1 tbspn Bhujia-handful.


Method

1.Take a big bowl. Add bpiled chopped potatoes.

2.then add chopped tomatoes.

3.further add Chopped cucumber.

4 then add green chilies

5.in a pan roast puffed rice (optional to roast).you can put directly also.

For Masala-

Take a pan

Now heat a pan and add cumin seeds,

Then roast it in low flame.

Then add coriander seeds, fennel seeds and cardamon...

Roast these all spices

Then add white pepper.

Mix and roast all them for 5 mins till are done nicely.

Cool it and add these spices in mixer grinder

Now grind it in a fine powder. The moori masala is ready.

Further add moori in that chopped ingredients bowl.

Then add moori masala.

Add some chopped coriander

Then add bhujia or savoury snacks, salt, mustard oil, lemon juice,redchili powder and some crusjed peanuts. Mix all well.

Transfer the jhaalmoori to a newspaper bag usually need to eat jhalmoori in this papaer bag. We can make at home by newspaper just by folding it and give a twist in the end. Then palce jhalmoori and enjoy it.
