I’m at the age where I’m starting to forget things. So I do occasional brain dumps and write things here and there to remind myself. No overt dementia yet, but my mom officially had it and my dad was likely sliding into it near the end although he was never diagnosed with it.
So here’s a partial list of bands and musicians I’ve seen at one point or another. There’s probably more than a few that I’ve missed. I went to a lot of shows in my twenties and early thirties but scaled back significantly after I became a dad. A few of these were during high school in New Jersey. Most were in Minnesota at venues such as First Avenue, The Longhorn Bar, various U of M locations, house parties, etc. Some are famous worldwide, others from the Twin Cities music scene of the late seventies and early eighties. Oddly, I never went to see Prince.
