I’m reading Thomas Pynchon’s Vineland in part because the upcoming Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Benicio Del Toro movie One Battle After Another is very loosely based on it. Shamefully, I have not read much by Pynchon. The Crying of Lot 49 something like 45 years ago. I think I started on Gravity’s Rainbow about the same time, but I don’t think I finished it. Never read V. or Mason & Dixon or Inherent Vice. So much to catch up on. But his soon to be published Shadow Ticket is in my library request queue.
