Thanks to technology, many images and videos from the past have been colorized and even improved in quality. The title I am reviewing uses this technology to show us one of the hardest moments in British history, the Blitz. Recently released on Netflix. The director is Ella Wright.
Sinopsis: Uno de los eventos más trágicos en Gran Bretaña, que comienza con la declaración de guerra de Alemania, y continúa con su ataque continuo mediante bombas lanzadas por aviones, llamado Blitz. Estos eventos serán mostrados mediante fotos y videos actualizados para el documental, añadiendoles color y entrevistas a varios involucrados.
Synopsis: One of the most tragic events in Britain, which begins with Germany's declaration of war and continues with its continuous attack by bombs dropped from planes, called the Blitz. These events will be shown through photos and videos updated for the documentary, adding color and interviews with several people involved.

No solo se ven los eventos físicos, sino la reacción de la gente, que en los primeros días no sabía como reaccionar, muchos de ellos usando lo que podían como refugio. A luego adecuarse a los ataques, y tratar de seguir viviendo la vida, enfrentando el terror que trataban de generar los nazis.
Not only are the physical events shown, but also the reaction of the people, who in the early days did not know how to react, many of them using whatever they could as shelter. They then adapted to the attacks and tried to get on with their lives, facing the terror that the Nazis were trying to generate.
Las entrevistas sirven para mostrar testimonios de lo que se pensaba en el momento, y como muchos trataban de vivir el presente y sobrellevar la situación.
The interviews serve to show testimonies of what people thought at the time, and how many tried to live in the present and cope with the situation.
Es indudable que el color y la mejora de la calidad de los videos, nos permite apreciar con mayor detalle, la situación de las ciudades atacadas. Incluso se llega a observar a Churchill en muchos vídeos, yendo a lugares atacados. El sonido muestra también el ambiente que soportaba la gente.
There is no doubt that the color and improved quality of the videos allow us to appreciate in greater detail the situation in the cities under attack. Churchill can even be seen in many videos, visiting places that had been attacked. The sound also conveys the atmosphere that people endured.

En general, es un documental que más allá del color y calidad, sirve para ver a una nación enfrentarse a una situación atroz, y salir con la cabeza en alto.
Overall, it is a documentary that, beyond its color and quality, serves to show a nation facing an atrocious situation and coming out with its head held high.
