Oley's fondness of canons sometimes leads to beautifull compositions, but every so often the result is stiff or just plain boring. An example of the latter is Oley's prelude to the chorale "Nun sich der Tag geendet hat". It is for completeness sake that I publish this chorale prelude and not for it's musical merits. It is best soon forgotten.
The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sample set of the Holzey organ of St. Peter and Paul in Weissenau by Prospectum (https://www.prospectum.com/index.php?language=english&id1=2&id2=9).
