 El momento de discutir una tesis es para muchos ese momento sagrado para culminar una etapa llena de sacrificios y trabajo duro. Es algo que suponemos inalcanzable en primer año pero que a medida que pasan los años se convierte en un objetivo más visible. Este año lleno de tantos retos y transformaciones en mi vida, ha significado un aprendizaje extenso, en donde he tenido muchas veces que vencer mis límites mentales y confiar en la habilidad de superación del individuo. Al comienzo el trabajar y estudiar fueron en base a cambios leves pero a medida que pasaban los meses y se acercaba el gran día, sentía como me quedaba sin tiempo y los pendientes aumentaban. Esta última etapa fue más que decisiva, siempre me mantuve positiva dado que desde segundo año comencé a estructurar mi tesis y tenía un objetivo claro: desarrollar la expresión oral de estudiantes de secundaria básica en inglés a través de aplicaciones móviles. La habilidad más suprimida en idiomas suele ser la expresión oral mientras que para darle un toque moderno le agregué el uso de la tecnología adaptada al contexto cubano, es por ello que utilice aplicaciones móviles offline. Para mí, fue más un hobby que una preocupación dado que desde pequeña me encanta investigar y al encontrar la metodología de la investigación fue esa cúspide para aprender sobre todo.    El día llegó, y con él la alegría y los preparativos para hacer de él un momento único e inigualable. Llegamos a la universidad con todos los preparativos y rápidamente nos ubicamos en el aula seleccionada para la inauguración de tan importante ceremonia. A las diez de la mañana comenzó oficialmente el acto y en el mismo me anunciaron la maravillosa noticia de estar eximida. Acto seguido, me hicieron entrega de un certificado para reconocer mi labor en estos años y reconocer mi título de oro. Además, me obsequiaron presentes dentro de ellos un libro, el cual será muy útil para mi próximo proyecto de curso de verano para niños. El saber que esta época de mi vida acabó de esta manera fue el mejor regalo que pude hacerle a mi maravillosa familia, que como yo, ha vivido momentos de tensión ante la espera de dicho día. Después de tan buena noticia, nos pasamos la mañana en la entrega de presentes, viendo las exposiciones, apoyando a nuestros compañeros y al final tuvimos un momento para compartir la merienda y el tan ansiado brindis.    Al terminar nos tomamos varias fotos y salimos a festejar con mis compañeros. Sin duda alguna, fue un día maravilloso, lleno de sorpresas y alegría por doquier. Un cierre de ciclo digno de la calidad de sus estudiantes. Fue el fin de algo pero también representa el inicio de una nueva época llena de retos, superación y alegrías, la cual enfrentaremos con toda la valentía y profesionalidad que nuestros profesores nos inculcaron desde el primer día. This year full of so many challenges and transformations in my life, has meant an extensive learning, where I have had many times to overcome my mental limits and trust in the individual's ability to overcome. At the beginning, working and studying were based on slight changes, but as the months passed and the big day approached, I felt like I was running out of time and the pending tasks increased. This last stage was more than decisive, I always remained positive because since second year I started to structure my thesis and I had a clear objective: to develop the oral expression of high school students in English through mobile applications. The most suppressed skill in languages is usually oral expression while to give it a modern touch I added the use of technology adapted to the Cuban context, that is why I used offline mobile applications. For me, it was more of a hobby than a concern since I have loved research since I was a child and finding the research methodology was the pinnacle to learn about everything.    The day arrived, and with it came the joy and preparations to make it a unique and incomparable moment. We arrived at the university with all the preparations and quickly took our places in the classroom selected for the inauguration of such an important ceremony. At ten o'clock in the morning the ceremony officially began and I was announced the wonderful news of being exempted. I was then presented with a certificate to acknowledge my work over the years and to recognize my golden degree. They also presented me with a book, which will be very useful for my next summer course project for children. Knowing that this period of my life ended in this way was the best gift I could give to my wonderful family, who like me, have lived moments of tension waiting for this day. After such good news, we spent the morning in the delivery of gifts, seeing the exhibitions, supporting our colleagues and at the end we had a moment to share a snack and the long awaited toast.    At the end we took several pictures and went out to celebrate with my classmates. Undoubtedly, it was a wonderful day, full of surprises and joy everywhere. A closing of a cycle worthy of the quality of its students. It was the end of something but it also represents the beginning of a new era full of challenges, improvement and joys, which we will face with all the courage and professionalism that our teachers instilled in us from day one.
