I remember wishing the year had ended in the third month because of the joy of seeing December and the festive season and knowing we would again be travelling home to meet with family and friends. This is the last quarter of the year, and very soon, we will be saying goodbye to 2025 while we welcome a new year. So far, it has been an amazing one. God has been faithful so far, especially with my goals. I was ticking my accomplished goals for this year recently, and I looked up and thanked the Almighty. If anyone should tell me I would get most things done this year, I would think such a person is lying. But I saw this myself and it's nothing but God's goodness. I would say this year has been one of the best years in my life, particularly with my relationship with God and how my spiritual life has gone to a great extent that I never imagined. @nkemakonam89 would testify because I do share some things with her as a good friend she is. I completed my National Youth Service Corps last year, in October, and at first, I became worried about the next chapter in my life - the job I would do and the new city I wanted to move to. I finally decided to relocate to Ibadan, and at one point, I thought it was a bad decision, but later, I realised it wasn't, especially with the way things were happening in a good way. Hive has been my source of income so far and God has been meeting my needs without lacking anything. I tried getting a job and for every place I submitted my CV, I wasn't called back. I had to settle on Hive to make the most of my time instead of wallowing in self-pity. I stopped being worried about anything in the month of May and instead, took to praising God for life and everything including things I'd ask from Him. And He always showed up miraculously, so every time, I wonder how it happened, but we know God's work is in mysterious ways. The surprising part that I never thought would be achieved was purchasing a fridge and a new laptop; these two were something I thought would take longer to get with how I have calculated it but somehow, God showed up. Coming down to Hive, I had set a goal to achieve 500 HBD kept in my savings, but that wasn't achieved. However, I know how much I have withdrawn from the beginning of the year till now. But I really do want to save that or even more in my savings before the end of the year so I can be proud of myself. Perhaps the bull run season would make it happen, who knows? ![1000657081.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/princessbusayo/1000657081.jpg) The year remains four months to go and all I am looking forward to is achieving something I started in August. It was a decision I made at the start of the month and I have been consistent with it. I already plan to evaluate the progress at the end of this month to see the outcome, and I cannot wait to see the results by December. I don't want to reveal it here but that's something I am looking forward to by the end of the year. I wouldn't want to rush the rest of the plans that are ahead of me. Taking things slow and one step at a time. There are still some needs that are on my mind and I wouldn't let that bother me at all. Year 2026 will come, and we all will witness it again by God's grace. By then, I would be happy to set new goals, believing that everything will be met, including my personal development. --- *Images are mine* ![1000414885.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/princessbusayo/AK2C7dr7CG9amqSNarRKhrFGqPF8Ybcwt5PM5t352JKw1xMTByAzPkuAARjrqQw.png)
