The future is not set, it might sound like my subjective opinion but I don't think there's something such as fate.
There was a quote in the classic movie Terminator, specially Terminator 2 Judgment Day.
The future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves.
I agree to that line, there is no fate but what we make for ourselves. It's trying to tell you that our lives are not already decided, AKA destiny . We can change all things by our own choices. Our lives are not a straight road that was already built before we were born. I know a lot of people believe in destiny but even if you do, I have to say that destiny is not bound to happen.
We make the road as we walk on it. Many people think that life just happens to them. They think they cannot do anything and it is what it is. They say things like "It is my fate and so I can not change it.' But it is not true at all. We can change many different things in our lives. Every small choice we make today can change our future.
Even the smallest things mean something to your future. Let's just say mayi, you say a kind word to someone, help someone or do a serious job and your life is not the same as you had.
It is not easy to live all your life knowing that the future is in your hands because we do not make good choices all the time do we?
Sometimes we fail regardless of how much effort we put in. Sometimes we make little mistakes that cost us big time. We develop fear for some things along the way and it changes our perception. It can feel to you that the world is too big and you are so small. We are still afraid of choices when we fail, we can try again, we can correct the course of life. The true fate I believe in is that we control our fate but life can also be unpredictable.
It is also an important thing to remember that the future is influenced by others and influences them as well. If you make good choices in your life, it may help other people. When the whole world has people helping each other, the whole world becomes better.
The life of the world depends on you because even small choices can build a big results for more people than you ever imagined. It is much better to think of the future in this way. You never need to wait for what will happen. You act, you plan, you dream about a good life and a better world and you do what you can to get it to become your reality. Life is full of opportunities. Every day you can choose and every day you make your own fate.
Don't be deceived to follow the path that someone else made, you make the way, you choose your own way. You are a leader of your own life and you have the power. Don't hand it to others, use it for your own good and the greater good.
