Warm Greetings sketchbook friends. I hope we all doing well... Here is another intriguing drawing of mine I just finished and I thought of sharing it here which of which I'm glad.
So I pressed my pencil lightly against the paper, letting soft strokes shape the little creature. The frog rests calmly on a short, round piece of wood, it's posture steady, as if it has claimed the stump as its quiet throne. I paid close attention to the textures, the roughness of the wood rings, the subtle folds of the frog's skin. There's stillness in the scene, yet a readiness in the frog's gaze, as though it might leap away at the slightest stir of the breeze.
Medium used: 12B sketch pencil on a sketch pad.
