Welcome to another joyful week in hive, another week to share our thoughts and opinions, this week we get to share our thoughts and opinions on facing the trials of life.
Trials of life are something we can't evict in life most especially when we grow to be adults except when death,and everyone has different ways of facing life trials depending on their weakness and strength.And to me that is what makes everyone unique and special in their own way.
How to face life trials, when to face life trials,is something we learn with time, and honestly not all life trials have the same way of facing them,the more when grow the more we realize that this method of facing this trial is the best,and what method is to be used for which trial,I have learnt this with time.
Growing up I never knew what it felt like to have problems because I had both parents making sure I was doing okay,my parents are not rich but we never beg, I don't know what it feels like to call uncle and auntie for anything.
Anytime it was month end and I make demand to my parent for anything and they ask me to wait until month end I keep wondering but month just ended na
Omo until after my secondary school I decided to work waiting for admissions,the first time I got paid before the first week of the new month will finish I was already calculating what I did with my salary because I was already broke, like I was not paying rent,I was not feeding anyone so how did the salary finish? To make matters worse I still have important things to do and I don't have money.
So that moment I decided to take care of important issues first before deciding what to do with the remaining money, sometime the salary is not even enough for the month bills, that moment I started to be more grateful to my parent, like is not easy oh
Another life trial I had to face differently is when I couldn't gain admission to any tertiary institution after sitting for jamb (joint admission matriculation board) five (5) times but still no admission,seeing my mate posting different pictures on social media really got to me.
Even when I thought I was doing well but I still find myself finding fault with myself, losing confidence in myself and questioning God, I realize I can't continue like that or I might end up not appreciating God for the little I had which was life and family
I deleted all my social media handles and only had WhatsApp. Even on WhatsApp I left all school groups and decided to face the fact that my admission is coming. After two years I realized those things don't get to me anymore.
I tried to face it but it was not possible. I had to outgrow it,so yeah some life trials we don't face them we outgrow them, no matter how we try to face them it just doesn't work.
