The Phoenix Succumbs
the phoenix succumbs in a whimper; she’s reborn with grace and glory
with stronger wings she achieves greater enlightenment  *** # Lightening Echoes  lightening echoes distant reverberation a beat behind, a seed the soil is fed my dreams nourished with reality sprouts *** # Soon the Rain 
soon the rain will cease downpours shift to arcs and bows sadness to spectrum  *** # A Certain Morning  a certain morning, a light touch; shivers down my spine I’ve no defence *** # Leaves and Detritus  leaves and detritus static and white noise; shouts fade in the distance ***
