I had been a pretty gloomy grey day. I had ventured out to run some errands but mostly I had stuck around my living room and kitchen ... I think the realstate people call that a great room, writing, cleaning and cooking ... homeschooling minime ... the best way to spend raining day. However, just as the sun set in the West, as it tends to do ... it also cut through the clouds. I look up from my writer's device and the sky was alit with gold and red ... not just the regular beauty of the Golden Hour ... no, more like we had been placed in theatrically dome of gold. I grabbed my trusty picture-taking device and ventured outside to see what could be captured.
I aimed the lens to the plunging disk in the West and was pleased enough. The I turned around and ... WOW .. a sunset rainbow spanning the East' entire horizon. I really felt the limitation of my Iphone in this moment. Trust me. This image is not doing the sky justice. it was an absurdly beautiful natural moment. I wish you had been with me. Here is hoping next time:)
