The Glimpse of Life Outside School.

It is quite unusual how we now see life after graduating from the university: you see life from a new perspective, you see things more clearly and even differently. And gradually, you begin to understand why certain people (who are already out of school) do certain things, why they behave in certain ways. Totally away from school and it activities, feels like a big burden or pressure was taken of you. Of course, you're happy that you finally saw the end of it, no more classes, notes, assignments, payment for so many things, etc. But then, there is this thing in the outside, that you could not have related to when you were once a student. That you only got free from a particular structure after a long time, the structire of learning in a school or university. The structure of time for class, to submit an assignment, to finish up a research, etc. ![20250731_230134.jpg](https://img.leopedia.io/DQmQeEdiEZFzAyrZuwnLipw6PR3EWPUPYubyqFY4wHVDdAn/20250731_230134.jpg) Image used was made by me on PixelLab Graduating from school is one pressure taken off you but then, there is the pressure outside school; one that comes with lots of questions and pressure too. You begin to question aot of things, even things you were once so sure of. After a while of being out of school, you want to find something doing, no longer enjoying the freedom of being out of school. You want to find something meaningful that keeps you occupied. You want to find purpose, a sense of living and making impact or say money. With just few months old outside school routine, I have learnt that life is truly on phases; that each phase has sub-phases too. Just like we used to have question 1 and then question 1a, 1b, 1c.....yeahhhh. Being a student was a phase, primary, secondary and university are just sub-phases. Leaving school totally is finishing a phase, now you move into the adulthood where you'd need more wisdom to choose and make decisions properly. I learnt that life outside school is a new phase to be truly independent young adults, we are no longer being controlled, tied to certain rules, not time bound, no one is grading you and whatever you do. You'd be the one to give time to all you'd do, apply rule and conditions for yourself, figure a WHOLE LOTS by yourself. You'd see and experience pressures, enticing offers, temptations, but you'd still need to choose yourself. I've learnt that you're solely responsible for both your choices and their outcomes. You no longer necessary have to seek opinions from anyone, sometimes even your parent, before you do a thing. Your circle of friends reduces, changes and gets more intentional. If you're one who believes that there is a God, then this is that phase of your life when you get more serious with your God. You'd ask lot of questions because it seems as though you are the only one (obviously, yes. Everyone else is trying to figure out parts of themselves). Another thing I have learnt is that, one best way to move at the right pace, is by connecting with like minded people, asking questions, being very curious and ready to take a blow. Going out to events and maybe parties (not clubs) where you'd meet a lot of young people like you might also help. *In short, life outside school is where you learn and figure out who you are, what you like, what you want, when you want it, but the crazy part..... How bad you want the things you want.* **Thank you for reading till the end.**
