Trying to introduce myself kept me in thoughts and continuous reminiscing on who I am and what I have been.
My name is Unyime-Ediyangaobong Udofia, also known as PSYCHIC. I am a writer who expresses feelings better in words. I believe documenting your life give you a clearer picture of what it used to be before you got here now. I used to keep diaries, but the beauty of it all is that it plays, which makes beautiful and conquering images years after you pen those words down.
I am a poet, and also a spoken word artist...I have a beautiful artistic career. I express my words in an intense emotions, sometimes I play a switch character or numb mostly I'd like to say I enjoy myself on stage when performing a poem. My life as a performing artist is something very dear to me.
There was a time I felt less of an artist and I missed the stage so much....but when I got the opportunity to get back on it, it all came alive.
Asides from poetry, I am an activist for Girl Child Right, and also an advocate for the black girl. Over the years I've written several poems which I tagged "BLACK GIRL TRUTH", supporting the girl child irrespective of their nationality or identity. Growing up for me as a girl, I went through some traumatic events that dealt with my confidence, so I decided to put these experiences into writing and share it with others, because I believed there were people like me or probably worse. So, the idea was to educate and motivate the younger ones not to make the same mistakes I did. In addition to that, I made a podcast where I share these thoughts too.
Still on who I am..which is a long note, I am a professional On Air Personality and a Voice Actor. This is a passion I hold so dearly. It is something I do without hiccups or worn out.
Finally, I am a wife. I got married very young age and this has brought so many questions on people's mind about whether I'm ready mentally, physically and otherwise. But my husband and I believe we are extraordinary being, and we can do this together irrespective of how young we look.
FINDING OUT ABOUT HIVE My husband @yanga told me about @Hive, since then he has been pestering me about it. For sometime,I did indicate interest but I later ghosted on the idea. But, He kept insisting, and he was always sharing and sending ideas from here and I would always shy away from it. He kept pushing, and even promised to take me out on a shawarma and ice cream treat ๐๐๐๐. Finally, I've to give in, because I love Ice cream, and I'm glad I'm here and I feel so great about it.
THOUGHTS ON HIVE I definitely know I will have a great time here on @Hive @hiveonboard because I have so much of love and beauty to share to the world.
I'll be documenting and sharing my ideas in poetry in a more elaborate sense and the benefits and struggles or things I have discovered in my early marriage. Let's say Hive will be my open diary. Already I have seen amazing people with so much content. I can tell it'll be a journey of me learning from great minds and I can't wait to get started already.....
