Continuing my frequent adventures through the museums of the nation's capital, today I embark on a journey through the subconscious of a visual artist by visiting his exhibition titled "The Dream Universe of Johan Galue," currently on display at the National Art Gallery in Caracas, Venezuela.
Continuando con mis frecuentes aventuras por los museos de la capital del país, hoy me adentre en un viaje por el subconsciente de un artista plástico visitando su exposición titulada "El universo onírico de Johan Galue" que actualmente se encuentra expuesta en la Galería de Arte Nacional en la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela.
The art exhibition brings together 33 paintings that offer the viewer a glimpse into the characters the artist creates in his subconscious, inserted into diffuse contexts in which they remain suspended, revealing that the obvious does not always exist in reality as seen in dreams.
La muestra artística recopila 33 obras pictóricas que ofrecen al espectador una mirada sobre los personajes que el artista crea en su subconsciente, insertados en contextos difusos en los que subsisten suspendidos, revelando que no siempre lo evidente existe en lo real tal como se puede apreciar en los sueños.

With a splendid use of color, the artist draws the viewer into this dreamlike universe filled with symbolism, allowing it to be used as a mirror to see the reflection of one's own subconscious and question the collective connection that exists in the realm of Morpheus.
Con un espléndido manejo del color el artista logra adentrar al espectador en este universo onírico repleto de simbología que se permite usar como espejo para ver el reflejo del subconsciente propio y cuestionar la conexión colectiva que existe en el reino de Morfeo.

It's truly a unique experience to be able to contemplate each of these pieces of art and be carried away by this pictorial journey.
