Hoy me dirijo a todos ustedes, a mis amigos, a mis conocidos y compañeros de @hive para invitarlos a que se unan en esta causa propuesta por @miriannalis. Lo hago con una mezcla de tristeza y esperanza, pidiendo un pequeño acto de bondad que puede significar el mundo para una persona que lo ha perdido casi todo: nuestra compañera @santamorillo.
Santa, para quienes la conocen, es un sol. La conozco desde mis inicios en la plataforma anterior, desde el 2018. Ella se acercaba a los servidores de Discord, a las diferentes dinámicas de curación y se pasaba por la caja de comentarios de nuestras publicaciones, dejando siempre un mensaje. Una mujer luchadora, trabajadora. Sin embargo, en los últimos días, su vida ha dado un giro devastador a causa de las fuertes lluvias que azotaron la región donde vive. La naturaleza, en su fuerza indetenible, ha arrasado con su hogar, llevándose consigo no solo muebles y pertenencias, sino también recuerdos, la seguridad y la tranquilidad de su espacio personal.
Imaginemos por un momento la sensación de ver cómo el agua se lleva el esfuerzo de toda una vida. El sofá donde te sientas a descansar, la cama donde duermes, las fotos que cuelgan en la pared, los libros que atesoras, la ropa que usas a diario. Todo, o casi todo, se ha perdido. Es una situación que nos rompe el alma, una pesadilla de la que es difícil despertar. Y esa es la dolorosa realidad que enfrenta Santa en este momento. Desde el 25 de julio, no ha podido volver a su hogar, pues su casa y toda esa comunidad quedaron afectadas.
Today I am addressing all of you, my friends, acquaintances, and colleagues at @hive, to invite you to join this cause proposed by @miriannalis. I do so with a mixture of sadness and hope, asking for a small act of kindness that can mean the world to a person who has lost almost everything: our colleague @santamorillo.
Santa, as those who know her call her, is a ray of sunshine. I have known her since my early days on the previous platform, since 2018. She would visit the Discord servers, participate in the various healing activities, and stop by the comments section of our posts, always leaving a message. She is a fighter, a hard worker. However, in recent days, her life has taken a devastating turn due to the heavy rains that hit the region where she lives. Nature, in its unstoppable force, has swept away her home, taking with it not only furniture and belongings, but also memories, security, and the tranquility of her personal space.
Let's imagine for a moment the feeling of seeing a lifetime's work washed away. The sofa where you sit and relax, the bed where you sleep, the photos hanging on the wall, the books you treasure, the clothes you wear every day. Everything, or almost everything, has been lost. It is a situation that breaks our hearts, a nightmare from which it is difficult to wake up. And that is the painful reality that Santa is facing right now. Since July 25, she has not been able to return to her home, as her house and the entire community were affected.
La casa de Santa quedó inhabitable, porque al lugar que llamaba hogar no ha podido regresar, porque el agua sigue allí, causando fuertes estragos. En un abrir y cerrar de ojos, pasó de tener un techo seguro sobre su cabeza a depender de la ayuda de otros para tener un lugar donde pasar la noche. Así que, muchos hivers se han unido y están haciendo todo lo posible para ayudar, porque la necesidad es inmensa y los recursos, limitados.
Es por ello que me he unido a esta iniciativa, después de haber leído la [publicación](https://hive.blog/hive-131951/@charjaim/iniciativa-esa-vida-nuestra-juntos#@charjaim/re-purrix-t265ha) de @charjaim, para aportar, aunque sea un granito de arena en pro de Santa. Mi aporte es que el 100% de lo recaudado en esta publicación están destinados en su totalidad a Santa
Yo quiero pedir a cada uno de quienes me leen, que se unan a esta iniciativa que no tiene fecha de caducidad. Cada quien puede aportar lo que desee, ya sean monedas o una publicación, poniendo a Santa como única beneficiaria.
Piensa que hoy es ella, pero mañana podrías ser tú, un familiar o alguien muy querido. Seamos empáticos ante este tipo de situaciones.
Santa's house became uninhabitable because she has not been able to return to the place she called home, as the water is still there, causing severe damage. In the blink of an eye, she went from having a safe roof over her head to depending on the help of others for a place to spend the night. So, many Hivers have come together and are doing everything they can to help, because the need is immense and resources are limited.
That is why I have joined this initiative, after reading @charjaim's [post](https://hive.blog/hive-131951/@charjaim/iniciativa-esa-vida-nuestra-juntos#@charjaim/re-purrix-t265ha), to contribute, even if it is just a grain of sand, to Santa's cause. My contribution is that 100% of the proceeds from this publication will go entirely to Santa.
I want to ask each of you who read this to join this initiative, which has no expiration date. Everyone can contribute whatever they want, whether it's coins or a publication, with Santa as the sole beneficiary.
