I have visited several waterfall in the island. this is also happen to be my first visit to Tibumana waterfall. What I like the most is the journey to the waterfall itself. I have pass a lot of lush area of plantation along the way.
Okay, to begin with, I arrive in the morning and after getting the ticket I begin walking to concrete stairs down. The concrete is in good condition, I guess this is the seriousness of the local to maintain the trek.
Along the stairs, that is not so steep, there are plantation of colorful croton along the side. Obviously planted by the local, so the beauty of it will make us forget about our tiredness during the way.
After walking for about five minutes, the scenery begin to change. On my left was a gorge with different lush plantation, while on my right was a small river. I walk along the dirth path in between the gorge and the small river. I remember thinking these were so beautiful.
Another stairs down leading to the gorge is my next path. At the end of the path, I walked again for few meters along the river bank. thenI reach an quite big ornate bamboo bridge. There are some people crossing and taking photos at bridge, I have to wait until they have finised. then I can walk on thee bridge.
Passed the bridge I arrived on the river where the waterfall is flowing. It is like a t shaped waterfall, in my mind. Some peole enjoyed and taking photos. Little kids play with water by the side of the river.
I stood there, wathing the waterfall and thinking one item in my list: The ribumana waterfall has been crossed.
