Sometimes when a piece of drawing could not be mended when it got messed up it is better to start fresh like what I did today on my original character Rivvi Scarpet. If you recall the green bench drawing and Rivvi who is supposed to be sitting on that bench while sipping a cup of coffee, that one got me all frustrated and took me days before I gained my interest back and start anew.
I am thinking about further developing the world of the Plant Stories. Although I am not focusing on Kumieo the plant I had never forgotten her but allow me to work on Rivvi because that is where my interest is nowadays. So here I am making a new scene aside from the bus stop and bench I made before. Rivvi went to the store which are those three structures on the background. I am thinking low structures but are big enough to house every merch my characters would need like grocery, furniture, appliance and so many more. Those stores with lots of parking space or empty space where greens could be planted.
It was a fun experience creating the world of the Plant Stories. I am limitless I can create anything because this is my plant stories world and this is my world too. I started drawing the image of Rivvi this is my practice drawing this character as well. Making sure that I am consistent in their looks, proportion and colors. I adjusted the arms a bit because here Rivvi is carrying two shopping bags the previous slender arms would not work so may be this is how the arms would look like. I love those flowers I put randomly on the ground and the color palette although I am not yet convinced if this is the palette that would work over time.
