Hola amigos de Hiver, Nos dirigimos a los Termales del Espíritu Santo, ubicados en Nariño, Antioquia. En moto, el recorrido dura aproximadamente 4 a 5 horas desde Medellín, dependiendo del clima y del estado de la vía.
Estos termales, además de ofrecer unas aguas maravillosas y relajantes, también cuentan con un excelente río que es simplemente espectacular. Después de disfrutar de las aguas calientes, puedes caminar un poco y encontrarte con esta hermosa naturaleza.
Hay una pequeña cascada donde el agua se siente distinta, incluso más caliente que en otras zonas, y no tan fría como podrías imaginar.
Este río, cuya corriente no es tan fuerte, es perfecto para disfrutar en familia. (La zona donde están los termales cuenta con actividad geotérmica natural. Esto significa que bajo la tierra hay fuentes de agua caliente que emergen de forma natural debido al calor del interior de la Tierra. Por eso, no fue tanto una decisión de “construirlos” como de aprovechar lo que la naturaleza ya ofrecía en ese punto).
Aquí encuentras de todo: senderos para caminar en la naturaleza, lugares para bañarte y muchos rincones para tomar fotos increíbles, así como en las Termales de Las Angustias que ya les mostré anteriormente.
También hay opciones para comer y hospedarte, aunque es importante hacer reserva con anticipación, ya que puede ser un poco costoso. La comida es aceptable, pero el entorno lo compensa.
Creo que es un lugar muy completo para pasar unos días diferentes y desconectarse.
Al final del día, regresamos en moto hacia Medellín. El viaje fue algo largo, pero valió totalmente la pena. El conductor se portó excelente, incluso cuando el camino estaba lleno de lodo: fue toda una travesía.

Hello Hiver friends, We headed to the Termales del Espíritu Santo, located in Nariño, Antioquia. By motorcycle, the trip takes around 4 to 5 hours from Medellín, depending on the weather and road conditions.
These hot springs, besides offering wonderful and relaxing waters, also have a fantastic river that is simply spectacular. After enjoying the hot springs, you can take a short walk and be surrounded by beautiful nature.
There is a small waterfall where the water feels different—warmer than other parts—and not as cold as you might expect.
This river, with a gentle current, is perfect for visiting with family. (The area where the hot springs are located has natural geothermal activity. This means that there are hot water sources underground that emerge naturally due to the heat from inside the Earth. Therefore, it was not so much a decision to “build” them as it was to take advantage of what nature already offered at that point.)
Here you’ll find everything: nature trails, swimming spots, and countless photo opportunities—just like in the Las Angustias hot springs I showed you before.
There are also places to eat and stay overnight, though it’s best to book in advance, as accommodations can be a bit expensive. The food is decent, but the environment makes it worthwhile.
I think it’s a very complete place to spend a few days away from the routine.
At the end of the day, we rode back to Medellín on the motorcycle. It was a bit of a long journey, but it was totally worth it. The driver did an excellent job, even though the road was muddy—it was quite the adventure.
