Pleasure is seen as an important element of happiness. Everyone wants to live a pleasurable life. But what all things that constitutes a pleasurable life? Some people belive in money, while some belive in love. But Sanskrit has given us 6 attributes that fulfil the defination of a true pleasurable life ;
अर्थागमो नित्यमरोगिता च प्रिया च भार्या प्रियवादिनी च |
वश्यश्च पुत्रोSर्थकरी च विद्या षड्जीवलोकस्य सुखानि राजन् ||
Arthaagamo nityamarogitaa cha Priyaa cha Bhaaryaa priyavaadini cha. Vashyashcha putrorthakaree cha vidyaa shadjeevalokasya sukhaani raajan.
Arthaagamo = acquisition of wealth.
Nityamarogitaa = nityam + arogitaa.
Nityam = always.
Arogitaa = free from diseases.
Cha = and.
Priyaa = affectionate.
Bhaaryaa = lawful wife.
Priyavaadinee = speaking kindly.
Vashyashcha = vashyah + cha
Vashyah = under control, obedient.
Putrorthakaree = putro + arthakaree.
Putro = son.
Arthakaree = useful in acquiring wealth.
Vidyaa = education, knowledge.
Shadjeevalokasya = shat + jeevalokasya.
Shat = six.
Jeevalokasya = this world's.
Sukhaani = pleasures.
Raajan = O King !
i.e. O King! Being wealthy, always being healthy, having a loving and sweet-spoken wife, an obedient son and being blessed with education which helps in accumulating wealth, these six qualities are the means to lead a happy life in this world.

A person who has all the six attributes were leading a comfortable and pleasurable life in this World. There are very few of them. Wealth, health, family, knowledge. All these attributes just makes the life very pleasursble.
